One of the best ways to support your employees’ health in the new year is encouraging them to take our Wellness Assessment. The Wellness Assessment is a quick, confidential survey that gives employees key insights into their current health and ways to improve it. It’s available to all Sharp Health Plan members ages 18+ and select employer groups. Here’s what to know.

Who should take a Wellness Assessment?

All employees benefit from taking the Wellness Assessment, but it’s especially important for new Sharp Health Plan members. It helps them understand their current health, set goals, and feel motivated to make healthy choices. Share these three Wellness Assessment benefits with employees.

Can the Wellness Assessment help with health coaching?

Yes! The Wellness Assessment is the starting point for the coaching program. Employees can refer to their results during their no-cost, one-on-one coaching sessions. During sessions, coaches will answer questions and guide employees toward healthier habits.

What other benefits does the Best Health wellness program have?

From fun activity challenges to our self-paced Healthy Living Programs, Best Health offers employees a variety of hands-on tools. As your local health plan, we’re also pleased to share local resources and events to support your well-being — right in Best Health’s online platform. Employees can explore webinars, our calendar of events, mental health resources and more.

How to get started

Employees can take their assessment and get their results in three easy steps:

Register or log in to their Best Health account. They can also download the Best Health app.

Select Assessment to get started.

Complete the Wellness Assessment to get results.

For more personalized results, employees should have their latest numbers and results from screening tests or a physical exam.

When employees finish their assessment, they can:

  • View their health risk factors
  • Get tips to improve their cholesterol, blood pressure, mental health and more
Best Health mobile app

Employees are encouraged to see their primary care physician to get the best care. If they have questions, they can take their results to their appointment.
