We aspire to making your health care experience stress-free, so here is some helpful information for paying the monthly bill.

We offer four easy ways to pay:



Log in or register for our online payment portal to view your balance due, make a payment, set up automatic payments, and view your online transaction history.

Tip: Use balance due when setting up automatic payments so you never miss a payment.



By phone

Talk to a real person. We’re your neighbors, so you can count on us to be accessible.

By mail

Make checks payable to Sharp Health Plan, write your member ID on the check and include the remittance slip that comes with your bill. Please use separate checks if you are paying for more than one account.

Your bill, simplified

Use this easy guide to help you understand key points on your monthly billing statement.


What you need to know

  • Please update your online automatic payments with your new premium amount each year, before December 31, or if you make changes to your coverage. You can also choose to pay the 'balance due' to ensure accurate and timely premium payments, and prevent any disruption of coverage. 
  • Remember to cancel your online automatic payments if your health coverage is terminated for any reason or if you no longer wish to make automatic payments.
  • Online payments can only be made against a primary subscriber’s member ID, which ends in -01 or begins with an S. If you are not the primary subscriber but wish to make payments, then go to your Profile page and update your account type to "I'm paying on behalf of someone else," and create a subscription for the primary member/subscription under "Add subscription."
  • Sharp Health Plan bill cycles run on the first business day of the month. If you change your benefit plan and make a payment after the first business day of the month, it will take 60 days for the change and payment to be reflected in your bill history and statement.
  • We accept Visa®, MasterCard®, debit cards (endorsed by Visa or MasterCard), checks, money orders, cash and eCheck.
  • If you need to pay a medical bill or copay, please call your provider or visit to make a payment.
