What you need to know

  • Update your online automatic payments with your new premium amount each year before December 31, or if you make changes to your coverage. You can also choose to pay the “Balance due” to ensure accurate and timely premium payments, and prevent any disruption of coverage.
  • Cancel your online automatic payments if your health coverage is terminated for any reason or if you no longer wish to make automatic payments.
  • Online payments can only be made against a primary subscriber’s member ID, which ends in “-01” or begins with an “S.” If you are not the primary subscriber but wish to make payments, then go to your Profile page and update your account type to "I'm paying on behalf of someone else," and create a subscription for the primary member/subscription under "Add subscription."
  • Sharp Health Plan bill cycles run on the first business day of the month. If you change your benefit plan and make a payment after the first business day of the month, it will take 60 days for the change and payment to be reflected in your bill history and statement.
  • We accept Visa®, MasterCard®, debit cards (endorsed by Visa or MasterCard), checks, money orders, cash and e-check.
  • If you need to pay a medical bill or copay, please call your provider or visit sharp.com to make a payment.
