Find out how you can get coverage outside of open enrollment.
What is special enrollment?
If you need coverage outside of open enrollment, you may still be able to apply if you've had a qualifying event. In most cases, you have 60 days from the date of the event to enroll in a health plan.
You can apply for the plan of your choice directly through Sharp Health Plan. If you’re interested in receiving financial assistance, you can apply directly through Covered California®.
