We want to make sure there’s no disruption in your care. If you recently moved, had a baby, or are losing job-related health coverage, we're here to help.
We know there are thousands of people affected by income changes, reduced hours and staffing changes. We want you to know you have options to keep your
access to the best care possible.
If you’ve lost your employer-based coverage, you may be able to continue your existing coverage through COBRA or Cal-COBRA for up to 18 months or longer. You should check with your employer to see what you qualify for and how to enroll.
You will also qualify for a Special Enrollment Period (SEP) in the individual market and can enroll in benefits with Sharp Health Plan directly or through Covered California™. You may also be eligible for financial assistance.
If you’re struggling to afford your monthly premium, you may qualify for financial assistance through Covered California. This year, California has adjusted the income limits so that more people qualify for financial help than ever before.
There are other life events that can lead to gaps in coverage, such as a permanent move, divorce, turning 26 and leaving your parent’s health plan or having a new baby. Find out if your life event qualifies you for health coverage.
