Are breast pumps a covered benefit?

Most new moms are covered for a breast pump with no copayment. You don't need to have a prescription from your doctor, you just need to request one within the first year after delivery of your new baby. (Breast pumps are not covered before delivery.) If you purchase your breast pump from a non-contracted supplier, it won’t be covered. Call Customer Care for information on how to order your breast pump.
