By now, you’ve probably heard about the benefits of self-care. Some research suggests it may boost well-being and even lower health care costs. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, many employers have recognized that self-care is an increasingly important aspect that helps ease stress and encourage healthy habits.

Live self-care webinar

In May 2020, we worked with the San Diego Zoo to offer a live self-care webinar to their employees. The webinar reviewed different tips and resources to encourage self-care during the pandemic, including:

  • Strategies for working at home effectively
  • Balancing work and family at home
  • Making tangible goals
  • Mindfulness practices
  • Virtual resources

We were so pleased to receive feedback from the San Diego Zoo and found the webinar was well received, with plenty of participation from attendees! Other local employers that have hosted this event include Point Loma Nazarene University and Girl Scouts San Diego.
