When you have healthy goals in mind, some days you just need a little extra support. That’s where your Best Health® coach comes in. All Sharp Health Plan members have access to no-cost health coaching sessions. Here’s what to expect.

What is Best Health coaching?

At Sharp Health Plan, we’re dedicated to providing you with high quality programs to support your health. The Best Health wellness program has held the distinguished Wellness and Health Promotion Accreditation from the National Committee for Quality Assurance since 2012.

As a Sharp Health Plan member, you can enroll in no-cost personal health and lifestyle sessions with our team of friendly and knowledgeable coaches.

Each session is one-on-one, conveniently held over the phone and customized to your needs. Best Health coaching programs last 6 weeks, and each weekly session lasts 30 minutes.

  • Physical activity
  • Smoking cessation
  • Stress management

Connect with a coach

When you begin your sessions, you’ll partner with an expert coach you can trust. Our coaches have over 30 years of combined experience. Every Best Health coach has a bachelor’s degree in a health-related field, at least 5 years of coaching experience and is nationally certified through the National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching.

During your appointment, your coach will:

  • Review your lifestyle habits and health concerns.
  • Guide you through setting your goals.
  • Talk you through potential barriers or difficult issues.
  • Motivate you to reach your goals.
