Making a Difference in San Diego
Sharp Health Plan is committed to being a leader in San Diego. And that commitment doesn’t end with our members. As San Diego’s only locally based commercial health plan, we live, work and play in the same neighborhoods as you. We love our vibrant and diverse communities, and we do all we can to be a good neighbor.
Through financial contributions and volunteer work, Sharp Health Plan supports community programs dedicated to improving the health and well-being of all San Diegans. We look out for our region’s vulnerable populations by supporting community health centers and other agencies that serve low-income and other at-risk populations.
Here are just a few of our community partners.
Arc of San Diego empowers persons with disabilities, and their families, by working in partnership to create opportunities to achieve their individual goals within the community. The Arc improves the lives of the disabled by providing employment services, housing resources, child/family programs, in-home respite care and much more.
