Member portal

Easily manage your plan through our Sharp Connect member portal. By creating a Sharp Connect account, you can securely access all your health plan needs on a mobile-friendly platform:

  • Check your benefits, eligibility, copays, deductibles and more
  • Choose or change your primary care physician (PCP)
  • Update your contact information
  • View, print or request your member ID card
  • View your billing statements
  • View your claims and out-of-pocket balances
  • Find a doctor, hospital or urgent care center in your plan medical group (PMG)
  • Download member forms 
  • Access health and wellness resources

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you have switched plans and received a new member ID number, you will need to re-register for the portal.

Employer portal

Verify member eligibility, enroll new members and much more. Here’s what you can do with the employer portal:

  • Access online enrollment and check eligibility
  • Add new members
  • Update enrollment and print temporary cards
  • View premium statements
  • View correspondence

IMPORTANT NOTE: Employee members who have plans with deductibles will receive an easier-to-read monthly explanation of benefits (EOB). The upgraded EOB will allow them to view their out-of-pocket maximum and progress toward meeting their deductible.

Broker portal

Get the information you need to determine client eligibility and much more. Here’s what you can do with the broker portal:

  • View group enrollment information
  • View business reports (if available)
  • View premium statements (with approval)

IMPORTANT NOTE: Your employer clients will be issued new group numbers (now called Account IDs), which will be reflected on their new, easier-to-read monthly billing statements. Employers will also see new benefit plan names reflected on all correspondence. These changes will help us create greater consistency for your employer clients across all of our communications. For future upgrades, we are exploring direct deposit for commission payments, and ways to get commission statements to you faster.

Provider portal

Get the details you need to determine patient eligibility, view claims and much more. Here’s what you can do with the provider portal:

  • Check eligibility and member status information
  • Download medical and pharmacy policies and procedures
  • Download provider forms
  • Update your provider directory information

IMPORTANT NOTE: Once your registration request is submitted, our Provider Relations team works to validate your account as quickly as possible. Most account requests are processed within a few hours, but all requests will be resolved within 2 business days. If you need expedited access, please call us at 1-858-499-8330 from Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5pm, and our Provider Relations team will assist you.

In addition, ACES is still available to all providers to view claims and authorizations for service dates on or before 12/31/17.

  • Providers seeing SCMG or SRS members: Use ACES to enter referrals for Sharp Health Plan members with dates of service after 1/1/18.
  • Providers seeing Independent Network (IND) members: Use the Sharp Connect provider portal to access claims and authorizations for service dates 1/1/18 and beyond.
