Your clients may need to submit requested documents to Covered California™ to keep their coverage or financial assistance.
The Reasonable Opportunity Period (ROP) is a 95-day period during which a conditionally eligible client can submit verification documents to resolve inconsistencies in their application.
Enrolled clients must provide the requested documentation within the ROP. Failure to do so may result in the termination of plan coverage or a change to or discontinuance of Advanced Premium Tax Credit (APTC)/Cost Sharing Reduction (CSR).
For more information, please view Covered California’s Understanding ROP and Auto-Discontinuance Guide.
